Nursing rhymes

There are rules and there are rules
the ruled know, and they teach their children well:
the snares, the trips, the tools, the fools
to best beware, don’t ride the tiger, poke the bear:

time for that is a long forgone, forlorn old song:
a code, an ode, to let snapping dogs lie
to have two minds, one open, one closed by:
a single story, all hope and glory

be to the son and the father: holy ghost
we are Party to what we love fear the most.
